On the banks of Ou Yue Ze, by the South Lake, there is a newly emerged Second Foreign Language School, with beautiful and charming scenery. Wenzhou Second Foreign Language School is one of the "Top Ten Famous Schools in Wenzhou for the 21st Century" built by the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government. It is a boarding public school under the Wenzhou Education Bureau, built according to the standards of Zhejiang Province's first-class characteristic demonstration high school (formerly known as a provincial key high school). According to the requirements of "building first-class schools, cultivating first-class teachers, and nurturing first-class talents", we began to recruit junior high school students in 2010 and entrusted Wenzhou Experimental Middle School to run the school; In 2012, an additional high school was established and entrusted to the century old prestigious Wenzhou Middle School for education.

It is located on Nanhu Road in Nanbaixiang Street, Ouhai District, facing Wenzhou Middle School and adjacent to Wenzhou University City. It is situated on the Sanyang Wetland and enjoys exclusive access to Tanghe Park, with an elegant ecological environment and a strong modern atmosphere. The school covers an area of 367 acres with a building area of over 100000 square meters. The school buildings adopt European architectural style, with a reasonable layout and advanced facilities. It is currently the largest school among primary and secondary schools in our city, serving as an ecological park, cultural holy garden, and warm home for teachers and students to work, study, and live.

The school has advanced educational conditions and is the only high school in Wenzhou with two track and field fields, two restaurants, two indoor sports halls, a large professional performance center, as well as sports and artistic activity venues such as tennis courts, volleyball courts, swimming pools, dance studios, and table tennis rooms. Equipped with high standard physical, chemical, and biological laboratories, self-made instrument laboratories, information technology rooms, specialized labor and technical classrooms, academic lecture halls, etc., utilizing the unique resources of the university city to build innovative laboratories, providing a good platform for cultivating students' innovative consciousness and comprehensive quality.
