Construction background

The only professional exhibition venues in Jinan that have the qualifications to hold exhibitions and can hold exhibitions year-round are Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center and Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center, both of which have relatively small exhibition areas. After the completion of the Jinan Western Convention and Exhibition Center, Jinan will have a large exhibition hall with a single net exhibition area of over 100000 square meters, which can complement and coordinate with Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center and Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center, forming exhibition advantages.

Exhibition Hall Design

The Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Huaiyin District, Jinan City, the core area of the western new city of Jinan. It is conveniently located east of Second Ring West Road, west of Binzhou Road, south of Rizhao Road, and north of Weihai Road. The project has a planned land area of approximately 332 acres, with a total construction area of approximately 555000 square meters, including an above ground construction area of approximately 375000 square meters and an underground construction area of approximately 180000 square meters. The main construction content includes the construction of public buildings such as exhibition centers, conference centers, and supporting towers, as well as facilities such as underground garages and equipment rooms. At the same time, supporting facilities such as roads, water supply and drainage, and greening will be constructed.

The Jinan Western Exhibition Center project, with a total construction area of approximately 555000 square meters, has a central area of approximately 140000 square meters above ground, with a single exhibition hall area of around 12000 square meters. The total area of the nine exhibition halls exceeds 100000 square meters. After completion, it will make Jinan a standard exhibition city with "100000 square meters+". The Western Convention and Exhibition Center consists of exhibition halls on floors 1-1-2-2-3, arranged from south to north. The overall architectural design concept revolves around the concept of "spring water", reflecting the vitality of the spring water everywhere. The interior of the exhibition hall and the roofs of the halls of the five north-south exhibition halls reflect the feeling of boats sailing on the river. The five exhibition halls are connected through a shared hall, which will also be the main exhibition channel for citizens to shuttle between several exhibition halls in the future.

In addition to the exhibition center, the Western Convention and Exhibition Center is also equipped with a high standard conference center and a 46 story star rated hotel. The conference center can accommodate more than 2000 people for meetings and dining at the same time; The supporting hotel has over 900 guest rooms; In an underground space of 180000 square meters, Jinan Western Convention and Exhibition Center has also planned 3000 parking spaces. In addition, it is adjacent to Jinan Metro Line 6 International Convention and Exhibition Center Station, Jinan Metro Line 2 Second Ring West Road Station, Beijing Shanghai High speed Railway Jinan West Station, and the entrance and exit of Second Ring West Road Viaduct, which will effectively solve the traffic diversion after the exhibition.
