Wenzhou School Affiliated to BFSU (referred to as "BFSU") is located in Nanhu International New City, Wenzhou, adjacent to Wenzhou Wanda Plaza and the G15 Shenhai Expressway South Baixiang Interchange. It is a nine-year integrated school jointly founded by Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Ouhai District Government of Wenzhou City, and Mr. Lai Feihu, a Romanian overseas Chinese leader. It is a basic education experimental base and a foreign language characteristic education demonstration school of Beijing Foreign Studies University.
The school covers an area of 60 acres, with a building area of approximately 52000 square meters and a total investment of 270 million yuan. The overall architectural design incorporates the design concepts of "third-generation school buildings" and "low-energy buildings", making it a high-quality school that is green, ecological, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient. The school is led by Lin Weimin, assistant to the president of Beijing Foreign Studies University, former president of Hangzhou Foreign Language School, and a special grade teacher. It also has an outstanding faculty team composed of renowned presidents, management and research teams, and teachers from Wenzhou. The expert group of Beijing Foreign Studies University is responsible for teacher training, professional guidance, and quality monitoring of foreign language courses.
