The Zhoushan Theater is located in Dinghai Cultural Square, integrating culture, entertainment, leisure, and commerce. The architectural structure of Zhoushan Theater is novel and beautiful, full of contemporary atmosphere, and adopts new techniques and materials in its design. The large-area point type glass curtain wall characterized by spiral curves and the floating ecological steel structure roof complement each other in sunlight and sea breeze, embodying the charm and meaning of a maritime city, reflecting the unique image and overall charm of urban cultural architecture, and becoming a landmark building newly built in Dinghai Ancient City.

Zhoushan Theater can host various performances such as large-scale song and dance, drama, solo concerts, symphonies, Chinese classical song and dance dramas, as well as large-scale conferences, celebrations, and performances of enterprises and institutions. It can also screen movies. The new theater is designed according to the national Grade B theater standards. The stage is 18 meters high, 18 meters deep, and 31 meters wide, with a 40 square meter elevating music pool. The stage machinery control system adopts advanced industrial control technology, reaching the advanced level in China. The control functions and various control indicators can fully meet the requirements of stage machinery use. The auditorium has 766 seats and can hold various performances, conferences, and other activities.
